How Chloe incorporates each RIBA Workstage

RIBA Stage 2 Concept Design

Briefing Process and Site Visit - A meeting with you to discuss and form a brief, a site visit to make observations.

Interior Design Concept - Work on the concept to meet the interior design brief. Items produced at this stage include Mood Boards, Finish Samples, Plans and Elevations where required.

Stage 3 Spatial Coordination

Design Development and Sourcing - Following a progress meeting with you, Chloe will refine the agreed concept, source furniture, finishes and lighting for final presentation and client sign-off. Chloe will also supply costs where possible.

Stage 4 Technical Design

Chloe will produce the necessary drawings for quotes and construction.

The drawing pack could include:

  • General layout with furniture

  • Small Power Layout

  • Reflected ceiling plan

  • Decorating and flooring layouts

  • Builders work drawing

  • Bespoke furniture items

  • Door and ironmongery schedule

  • Elevations

  • External signage

Chloe could also serve as a trade liaison, meeting with tradespeople on-site to discuss proposed work and adjust drawings as necessary.

RIBA Stage 5 Manufacturing and Construction

Chloe will produce a purchasing schedule (FF&E) to help you with ordering finishes, furniture, and furnishings; receive deliveries on-site and oversee installation. Chloe can also oversee the implementation of visual concepts; progress meetings and installations will be attended as the project requires through to the site handover to you.

RIBA Stage 6 Handover

Chloe will provide you with a binder with all relevant inclusions as part of your project's wider Health & Safety File. This includes 'As Built' drawings, Specification sheets, Manuals (where applicable), cleaning and maintenance instructions. During the completion and handover, Chloe will assist to snag the work carried out and help to resolve any deficiencies.
